The War On Prosperity
Remember Lyndon Johnson’s “War on Poverty”? 40 years later and trillions of dollars spent it didn’t help anyone. In fact it led to a cycle of poverty and an entitlement mentality that has decimated most of America’s major cities.
President Lyndon Johnson’s administration was known for his War on Poverty. President Obama’s will become notable for his War on Prosperity.

Why did an average citizen and small business owner create this blog?
It was that article that prompted me to create this blog. Now let begin by saying that I am not a journalist or a political analyst. I am an ordinary hard working husband and father of 2 boys that is deeply concerned about the direction our country is headed.
Although I consider myself a Reagan conservative, I no longer identify myself as a Republican. It seems to me that during the 8 years of the Bush administration our Republican led congress lost their conservative values. The contract with America in 1994 that led to sweeping changes seems to be a distant memory. I truly believe that if Republicans want to win congress back they need to rediscover their conservative roots and bring people like me back to the party. If we are going to save this country from socialism we need to win back congress in 2010.
Where is all that Hope and Change Obama promised?
Millions of Americans voted for change and backed a candidate that promised sweeping change. However, I do not believe that most of the Obama voters ever envisioned a major government takeover of the financial industry, the auto industry or a tripling of our Debt. You can’t blame that on Bush!
The so called stimulus plan was a sham from the start and as I write this unemployment is climbing to double digits and foreclosures are still rising. Yet, with all this trouble no one is even talking about tax relief for Americans and small business. There is no plan B, now that it is apparent to rational Americans that the Stimulus plan is not working.
Are you ready to turn your Health over to the Government?
On top of it all the now in power democrats forced Government controlled health care down our throats despite huge support against it. I for one do not trust the government to do anything right, let alone choose my doctors.
If you voted for Obama you were duped! Unless you are one of the America haters, socialists, or free loaders, that want to destroy capitalism and freedom.
I think that if most Obama voters knew what his real agenda was, the lame candidate McCain would have won in a landslide.
If you are an American and you are concerned about the future of this country,you need to start getting involved. As time marches on I will be posting information and news stories that you probably won’t see in the Government controlled media. It has become obvious that ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN are in lock step with Obama and his socialist agenda.
I have found myself watching Fox news more and more lately and I do not even read the newspaper anymore.

The current Obama administration and Far left Congress led by Pelosi and Reid are now engaged in a “War on Prosperity”. This obvious hatred towards individual freedom and capitalism could have devastating results on our way of life and the America our children and grandchildren will be stuck with.
Get involved now! Stop sitting on the sidelines and get involved. Let your Senators and Congressional Representative know that you are not going to put up with this. The 2010 elections are right around the corner and we can slow this march to Socialism down.
Many political analysts are saying that these 2010 mid term elections may be one of the most important in US history. If the democrats are allowed to continue with this hard left march towards socialism it may take generations to fix. Tell that yo your grandchildren!
